- Fauld
- Armour (usually composed of horizontal lames) attached to the bottom edge of a breastplate to protect the abdomen.
- Foible
- Special (Renaissance) term for the upper, weaker part of a blade. Does most of the attacking for its speed and nimbleness.
- Epaule de mouton
- Steel defense for the complete arm; developed during the 15th and 16th centuries; used exclusively in jousts.
