Grip
The handle of a sword. Mostly made of wire, leather, wood, ivory, bone or horn. Also a method of holding a sword.
Lammellar
Form of armor. Consist of small metal plates stitched together.
Skull
The part of a helmet cover­ing the top, back and the sides of the head above the ears. It can also denote a simple metal cap.
Xiphos
Bronze sword with a tanged metal blade fitted into a plain wooden hilt.
