Arming sword
Also short sword. Single-handed weapon which looks like a simple longsword. Attached to the a knight’s belt.
Nasal
Plate defence on early medieval helmets, often riveted to the bottom of the skull to cover the nose and middle of the face.
Waisted-grip
Specially shaped handle. Has somewhat wider middle and narrows towards the pommel.
Alamani
Curved steel Indian sword with a gilt handle.
