- Cut-and-Thrust Sword
- Quite thin, tapered sword with compound hilts suitable for fingered grip.
- Lower end
- The pointed part of a sword.
- Tabard
- Similar to a surcoat. Made from front and back parts laced together. Could be tightened or left loose.

- Sword with a heavy, curved blade and S-shaped quillions; used during the 16th century.
