Brigandine
Form of coat-of-plates with hundreds of small plates, partially covering each other. Mobile yet protective.
Lance
Typical weapon of a man-at-arms. Firstly a long (9 ft) spear but later developed into a heavier and even longer form unsuited for infantry.
Morning star
Also called morgenstern. A form of spiked club , popular in the early sixteenth century.

Armor protecting the knee.
