Grip
The handle of a sword. Mostly made of wire, leather, wood, ivory, bone or horn. Also a method of holding a sword.
Plackart
Part of armor. Covers the wearer's lower rib and stomach area. Attached with straps which allows better flexibility.
Walking-Sword
See Small-Sword.
Ball & chain
Type of flail; consists of a metal ball attached to a short wooden handle by a chain.
